Abstract:
Glaucoma is an irreversible progressive lesion of optic nerve and visual function caused by relative elevation of intraocular pressure. Primary glaucoma is the main type of glaucoma. At present, the specific pathogenesis of primary glaucoma is not clear. High intraocular pressure, abnormal anatomical structure, sex, age, race, heredity, refractive status, mental and psychological factors, systemic diseases have been reported being related to the occurrence and development of primary glaucoma.
